What is AdBlue?
An Increasing number of manufacturers (New Holland, Fendt, Massey Ferguson) are using AdBlue to cut exhaust emissions in their vehicles.
They must meet the Stage IIIB standard for non-road engines which was introduced in January 2011.
AdBlue is not a fuel additive, but a solution (ISO 22241 standard) which is drip-fed in very small quantities into diesel engine exhaust systems to convert harmful nitrous oxides into safe nitrogen and water.
Your trucks will require a specific AdBlue tank and delivery system. Expect your vehicles to use AdBlue at a rate of around 5% five litres of AdBlue for every 100 litres of diesel consumed.
